The project received tremendous support from various sectors in the community, and an unexpected flood of donations arrive in the school, which manifested the kindness and generosity of everyone. Sacks of rice, vegetables, and health kits were prepared and repacked by many volunteered teachers and barangay officials. Twice every week, the school distributes basic food and essential needs that will last for several days to more than a hundred families seriously affected by the pandemic.
For vulnerable families, an outbreak can translate to spikes in poverty and missed meals for children. But, the sincere effort of the school administration, faculty, and other sectors of the community mitigates the possible widespread of hunger and
The loud cry of affected families did not fall on deaf ears. Camarin High School, under the magnanimous leadership of Sir Ferdinand "Tatay F" De Leon, made a quick response and a viable solution to alleviate the hardship and ease the burden of the impoverished members of the community. This community pantry is an extension to the community of the ongoing Wellness Campus Program, Whish Ko Well Ka. To answer the people's needs, Camarin High School organized a community pantry and solicited collected efforts from different sectors that made the project successful.
The whole world has been turned upside down because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Many people were caught unprepared with the sudden turn of events. Without warning, the pandemic hit most of us, especially the middle and low-income earners in our country.
provides substantial help to the chosen families. The Camarin High School community pantry has been a tool in reviving the "bayanihan" spirit. The caring heart of all the people involved did not only place food on the table but create an uplift to the families badly affected by the COVID 19 pandemic. Indeed, this worthy endeavor was made possible because of everybody's absolute cooperation and benevolence.
