For their steadfast commitment and engagement, Camarin High School was selected the national third runner-up. The institution showed no mercy in the 2020-2021 academic year. The title of National champion in Nestle Wellness Campus Program was recently reclaimed after learning from previous fighting experiences and working hard to attain victory.
Despite the fact that the route to Camarin High School's success was not simple, the entire family, led by a magnificent principal, Mr. Ferdinand A. De Leon, patiently took bravery, hard effort, and dedication during this trying time.
Planning and organization were not just a piece of cake for one of the school’s largest populations in the city in Caloocan. Through virtual sessions, the group was divided into teams and thoroughly discussed and reviewed the different healtivities such as Wish ko Well ka, Fun-pamilya, Camhigh Pantry and Dancercize.
Camarin High School's mega-population has taken part in the Wellness Campus Program for the past five years. The triumph occurred after a long period of preparation in 2014-2015, when the school was declared as National Champion against other schools in the Philippines. Despite the fact that the school was unable to reclaim the title of champion in 2016, the enthusiasm and tenacity to reclaim the title as champion was successful in 2017. Even though the school would not be able to function in 2019 owing to the pandemic, the former principal, Mrs. Nenita E. Mercado, requested a permit from the mayor's office.
Every school has its own interpretation of what success entails. Serve as an instrument of hope, Camarin High School, proved that when there is a will, there is a way. With the generous collaboration and determination of the entire family, the victory is written into the history.
With a seemingly insurmountable mountain to climb, the fearlessness of the entire family provided an opportunity to introduce the program to stakeholders through our dearest principal, Mr. Ferdinand A. De Leon's YouTube channel, Camarin High School's Facebook page, and Camarin High School's Wellness Facebook page. Throughout the journey, some challenges put the school’s courage, strengths, weaknesses, and faith to test. Regardless of the challenges and with the same purpose, the school engaged, empowered, and inspired students, parents, and teachers to take part in the program.
Finally, the school's unwavering desire to help strengthen every individual's heart and soul for them to embrace social responsibility and accountability resulted in success.
The road will not always be smooth. In fact, we will face numerous challenges along the way. We may encounter obstacles along the way that will stand in the way of the paths we are destined to take.
